Courses

Mindfulness meditation courses are suitable for beginners and people who have meditated before. The only course requirement is that you make a commitment to set up and maintain a regular meditation practice. (You will get lots of support to help you do so.)

Swansea course registration

Swansea Intensive Course

Course outline

The courses cover the core syllabus of Jon Kabat-Zinn’s course in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, including:

  • mindfulness of breathing and body scan meditations
  • breathwork
  • bodywork
  • input and discussion on the theory and principles of mindfulness
  • the opportunity to apply the teachings to your life and experience

There will also be space to respond to the interests and needs of the group.

Course Aim and Objectives

My aim for you, is that by the end of the course, you will feel more comfortable in yourself exactly as you are.
AND

  • Learn new ways of handling difficult feelings, stress, pain and moods
  • Develop patience, compassion, open-mindedness, determination and focus
  • Establish/deepen your meditation practice
  • Become more attuned to yourself, others and the world around you
  • Develop your body awareness
