Vicki Worsley is an experienced meditation and mindfulness practitioner, she is also a trainer with over 20 years experience working with groups and a qualified counsellor. Vicki brings all these skills to her work as mindfulness teacher.

Vicki’s first exposure to meditation was while living in Japan in the early 90s where she began practicing Zen meditation in Kamakura. Since then she has studied in the traditions of Chan, Soto Zen, Tibetan Vajrayana, FWBO and the Community of Interbeing (TNH). Vicki regularly attends retreats including – Thich Nhat Hahn, Plum Village, Gaia House with Stephen and Martine Bachelor, and John Peacock. Her teacher and mentor is Rob Preece, meditation teacher and psychotherapist (UKCP), author of ‘The wisdom of Imperfection’ and ‘The Psychology of Buddhist Tantra’ (Mahamudra). Vicki has studied with Rob since 2001. Vicki has practiced Yoga and breath work since 1986. She sees these as an integral part of mindfulness practice.

Vicki is a qualified teacher and teacher trainer (BA Hons, Sussex, FAETC, Cert Ed. Thames Polytechnic, RSA Cert Tefla and RSA/UCLES Dip Tefla). Vicki has worked in Universities, Further Education and Adult Education since 1987 (including the WEA, British Council, Oxford University, Sussex University, Cardiff University, Glamorgan University). She also worked as an education and training consultant for the British Council in Colombia, South America (1996-2000).

Vicki is a qualified counsellor (PG Dip Counselling, Bristol 2002, Cert Counselling, Institute of Group Analysis Cert, in training at Metanoia Integrative Psychotherapy Year 3, British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy Member). Vicki uses mindfulness techniques in her work as a therapist, previously at Glamorgan University, now in private practice.
